i must have listened to this song a million times when i was 21.
i have always sort of felt like the lines: "why can't you look after yourself and not down on me?/do you have to try to piss me off 'cause i'm easy to please?" were written for me. to this day, whenever i'm nice to someone and they turn it around and try to make me feel like an idiot for being nice, i think of this song and of those lines. (sidenote: why are some people such A-holes?)
