really?

sometimes, i come across something and i think: "there are a gazillion people in the world who don't have enough money for food or medicine or shelter, and other people are spending theirs on personalized casserole dishes?  really?"

and then i remember the $40 pedicure i got yesterday and i think: "nadyne, don't be a hypocrite... one person's peronalized casserole dish is another person's pedicure".
and then i think: "what if i sent my pedicure money to someone who really needed it?".
and then i think: "you still have debt... you shouldn't be sending money to anyone until all of your debt is paid off".
and then: "yeah but... if everyone had that attitude, the world would be screwed".
and so on and so on.

still, personalized casserole dishes?!  give me a break.
